Ventura Holiday Tree Lighting 2016

Click here to search for Ventura County homes for saleOn Friday, December 2nd, come join your neighbors at the Ventura Holiday Tree Lighting 2016.  Several kid-friendly games and activities ensure the little ones stay engaged.  Food and crafts vendors allow you to check some items off your Christmas gift list.  Take photos inside the giant inflatable snow globe!

While Santa’s Village stays in Figueroa Plaza throughout the holidays, the Ventura Holiday Tree Lighting 2016 ceremony takes place at Mission Park.  Choirs sing holiday-themed music at 6pm.  Dancers entertain guests as well.  We have it on good authority that Santa Claus himself will arrive via fire truck at 6:45pm.  He promises to listen to the wish lists of all the good little boys and girls on-site.  Parents…get your cameras ready to take a picture.  Then, when dusk arrives, the Mission trees will be lit up.  Don’t be surprised when you see snow falling.

The shops and boutiques around Downtown Ventura will be open throughout the afternoon as well.  Why wait until the last minute to get your Christmas shopping done.  Instead of visiting big box stores this year, support the Ventura economy.  Spend your money with local small businesses.  Show them you care.

Have fun.  From our family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving.  Happy Hannukah.  Merry Christmas.  And happy holidays to all!
