Ventura Tequila and Taco Music Festival 2018

Day 1 of the Ventura Tequila and Taco Music Festival 2018 is Tequila Day! If you want to sample some of the finest tequilas available, you need to make plans to join the festival on Saturday, July 21st. Sampling takes place from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday only. However, guests still enjoy margaritas on Sunday. And several acts take the stage throughout the entire weekend. Plus, street tacos for everyone! If tequila hits you too hard, visit any of the fine craft beer booths on-site. Plus, several vendors sell other non-alcoholic beverages. No one goes thirsty here!

Ventura Tequila and Taco Music Festival 2018 Tickets

General admission tickets for the festival cost just $10 per day. If you want to do some tequila sampling, it’ll cost you $40, which includes admission into the festival itself. For $25, purchase a Sunday Margarita ticket. This grants you entry for two into the festival as well as two souvenir margarita glasses and two 12 ounce margaritas. Kids ages 12 and under enter absolutely free of charge. Only participants ages 21 and older with a valid photo ID can drink alcoholic beverages. Visit the festivals’ Eventbrite website to purchase your tickets today.

Ventura July 4th Events for 2018

In two days, we celebrate the United States’ 242nd birthday. Fireworks are just one part of the day. Other Ventura July 4th events for 2018 include a parade and a street fair. Which of these will you be attending?

Ventura July 4th events for 2018 start off with a pushem-pullem parade, then an all day street fair and finally end with a picnic and fireworks. And all this courtesy of the Rotary Club of Ventura East.

Ventura July 4th Events for 2018

Ventura July 4th Parade

The Ventura July 4th events for 2018 starts off with a pushem-pullem parade hosted by the Rotary Club of Ventura East. A local favorite, the Rotary Club’s parade has become a cherished tradition. Kids and adults alike hop aboard their bikes or pull wagons decorated in patriotic finery. Participants start out at Main and Crimea at 9:30 am. If you’d like to be a part of it, all you have to do is show up with your decorated bike and/or wagon at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. For more information, please contact Jeff Hata with the Ventura Rotary Club.

Ventura July 4th Street Fair

After the parade, visit Main St for the Ventura July 4th Street Fair. It stretches six blocks (from Fir to Mission Park). From 10 am to 5 pm, over 200 vendors set up their wares for visitors to peruse. Enjoy live entertainment as well as a fun Kids Zone. The Museum of Ventura County provides the backdrop for the fair’s official beer and wine garden between 11 am and 3 pm. You must be at least 21 years old with a valid photo ID in order to purchase and consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly so everyone enjoys their time at the fair.

Ventura July 4th Fireworks

And finally, the pièce de ré·sis·tance…the fireworks show. Again, the Rotary Club makes sure you enjoy yourself this 4th of July. From 5 pm to 10 pm, anyone who shows up at the Ventura College athletic fields will be treated to live music, food trucks, and a pyrotechnic display like you’ve never seen before. Most food trucks take credit and debit cards. However, bring cash just in case. You can also bring your own picnic from home if you’d like. Small coolers, blankets, lawn chairs, and outside food will be allowed. Keep all portable barbecues, pop-up tents, large umbrellas, glass items, alcohol, and pets at home. Expect your bags and coolers to be searched upon entry. Tickets cost $8 per adult and $6 per child. Kids ages three and under get in free.
