Ventura Winter Wonderland & Marketplace 2019
It may not snow here in Southern California, but we definitely know how to celebrate the holidays! First, with a tree lighting at the San Buenaventura Mission right after Thanksgiving. Then, with our Winter Street Fair and Wine Walk a couple of weeks ago. Only eight more shopping days until Christmas. So, if you have yet to start your shopping, I suggest you get on the ball now. This weekend’s Ventura Winter Wonderland & Marketplace 2019 might offer your last opportunity to complete your shopping list before the big day next week!

Ventura Winter Wonderland & Marketplace 2019
Grab your Christmas gift list and head over to the Ventura Harbor Village this Saturday. We hear Santa and Mrs. Claus promise to make a visit and they brought their reindeer with them! Tell Santa what you want him to deliver on Christmas Day and pose for photos. Keep your eyes open for other beloved holiday characters as they wander around the village, too. Carolers and Toy Soldier band keep the public entertained with lively renditions of favorite holiday songs.
Keep the kids busier still with fun scavenger hunts. Macaroni Kid and Lakeshore Learning host free kids crafts in the Village as well. Once completed, take these Christmas-themed crafts home to become part of your holiday decor for years to come. You might want to wander over to Coastal Cone sometime between 12 pm and 4 pm. Why? Well, don’t be surprised if you happen to catch snow falling every 15 minutes or so. What winter wonderland would be complete without snow?!
Shopping Passport Contest
Plan on visiting at least three shops and spending a minimum of $15? Pick up a shopping passport at any of the Village shops. Have the retailers at each shop you visit stamp the passport. Then, turn it in before you leave. You automatically receive free entry into the Harbor Village contest. Prizes include whale watching tickets and free merchandise at several of the Village shops. It’s free to enter.
From our family to yours…we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a joyous New Year!
