2015 Downtown Ventura Christmas Tree Lighting

Search homes for sale in Ventura CountyA total of 21 missions were built in California between the late 1700s and early 1800s.  One of them is the location of the 2015 Downtown Ventura Christmas Tree Lighting tomorrow night.  The San Buenaventura Mission is the last of the missions that Father Junipero Serra founded in our great state.  We can’t think of a more beautiful backdrop for this fun Christmas event.

Santa will arrive at the 2015 Downtown Ventura Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at 6pm via fire truck.  Before he gets here, though, guests will enjoy traditional Christmas carols from several local area choirs.  Dance troupes will also perform for the awaiting crowds.  Make this memory last by taking a picture at the interactive snow globe booth.  Who says it doesn’t snow in Southern California?  I’ve got it on good authority that Santa is bringing a bit of the north pole with him.  After the lights turn on, the snow comes down!

We’re looking at clear skies but chilly weather for the 2015 Downtown Ventura Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.  The weatherman says it’s going to be around 60F tomorrow night.  Make sure you bundle up!

Do you have your Christmas shopping done?  What is the hottest item on your kid’s list this year?  Have you been able to find it in the stores?  Please tell us in the comments below.
