2018 Ventura County Wine and Food Experience

This year’s celebrity chef at the 2018 Ventura County Wine and Food Experience is Chicago-based Graham Elliott. This four-star, double Michelin star, award-winning chef owns and operates several restaurants around the world. But you probably know him best as a celebrity judge on the “MasterChef”, “MasterChef Jr”, and “Top Chef” TV shows. He’s not the only talent at this festival, though. Representatives from more than 30 local area restaurants show off their skills with sumptuous food tastings. And, to top it all off, guests enjoy samplings of fabulous local wines and craft beers as well.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to cook or find out more about fine wine, you’re in luck. Two wine seminars and a cooking demonstration will be performed at the Camarillo Hangar throughout the afternoon. Seating is only available on a first come-first served basis. Get there early so you don’t miss a thing.

As you can imagine, the 2018 Ventura County Wine and Food Experience enforces a “21 and over only” restriction. No children (even in strollers or carriers) or pets (other than official service animals) will be allowed on the premises.

2018 Ventura County Wine and Food Experience Tickets

Why tell you now about an event that takes place in two months? Because it tends to sell out pretty quickly. If you want to go, you need to make plans right now. Besides, ticket prices go up the closer we get to the event. Take advantage of the best-priced deals right now. Attendees must choose one of three packages available: Grand Tasting, VIP Grand Tasting, and the Chef’s Package.

The Grand Tasting package costs $50 per person ($85 at the door) and includes unlimited food samplings, wine and craft beer tastings, and access to all live demonstrations and seminars. The VIP Grand Tasting sells for $80 ($115 at the door) and includes everything in the Grand Tasting package as well as entry into the VIP area and restrooms and early entrance into the event (12 pm, no waiting). In the VIP area, guests dine on specially made hors-d’oeuvres and premium wine. For $160 per person (no discounts), purchase the Chef’s Package. It includes everything in the VIP Grand Tasting package as well as a personal meet-and-greet with Graham Elliott at 11 am.
