Ventura County Fireworks Shows for July 4th Weekend 2021

When Governor Newsom lifted the mask mandate last week, Californians rejoiced. Residents and visitors to Ventura get to enjoy local events like Steel Drum Saturdays and Live Music Sundays without any face coverings. And with temperatures beginning to heat up, that makes it even more pleasant. Last year, most Ventura County cities canceled their fireworks displays due to COVID concerns. This year, we see a return of normalcy (of sorts). Here is a list of some of the places you can catch Ventura County fireworks shows for the July 4th weekend this year.

Live Ventura County fireworks shows are back and more exciting than ever for this July 4th 2021 holiday weekend. Find out where to see them here.

Ventura County Fireworks Shows and More

Search Ventura County homes for saleThis Ventura County fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9 pm on Sunday, July 4th, at Camarillo Park. Listen to music streaming live set specifically to the show on your car radio. Just tune to 95.1 KBBY. Parking is offered on a first-come/first-served basis at Camarillo Outlets and the surrounding areas. However, you must watch the fireworks from your vehicle. No one is allowed in the park during the show. So, put down the tailgate or set up your lawn chairs around your car to watch in comfort. Admission is free.

This year, Ojai celebrates Independence Day with fireworks on Saturday, July 3rd at Nordhoff High School. Gates open at 5:30 pm. The band CVR performs live for guests. Fill up on tasty food from one of the food trucks on-site. Bring your own chair but leave the pets, alcohol, and glass containers at home. Tickets cost $5 to $10 per person. Discounts are available for family groups of four, six, or eight. However, they must be purchased beforehand. No tickets will be sold on-site.

The 4th of July family parade returns to Oxnard this year! From 10:30 am to 11:30 am, watch as families walk, stroll, or bicycle from Albacore Way to Harbor Boulevard, ending at Cabezone Circle. If you want to participate in the parade, download an entry form here.

Santa Barbara

At the time of the writing of this post, Santa Barbara was still waiting on confirmation for their fireworks show on the beach. Check back on their site to see if it is a go or not.

Happy Birthday, America. Celebrate safely and sanely.
