Camarillo real estate is a fairly new city but it has always been a small friendly and close community.  The city was incorporated in 1964.  Six years after the death of Adolfo Camarillo, the town named for him became a city (on September 29, 1964)  It was incorporated with some 10,000 residents and a land area of 5.5 square miles. The official City Seal bears the resemblance of Adolfo riding one of his famous white horses.

Old Town Camarillo is a mile-long section of the city which is dedicated to the city’s early days.  Every Saturday morning, there is an open-air Farmer’s Market held on Ventura Boulevard.
