On Thursday, we give thanks for all of the blessings we have experienced throughout the year. Unfortunately, not everyone is as fortunate. Millions of families throughout the United States struggle to make ends meet. That makes celebrations like Thanksgiving and Christmas that much harder. Please consider helping these families by donating to the Spark of Love Toy Drive right now.
Spark of Love Toy Drive 2023
All you need to do is drop off a new, unwrapped toy at a participating business or the Ventura Fire Department. All donations must get dropped off at one of these locations before the end of business on December 11th. The local fire departments also accept non-perishable food items. Then, all toys will be distributed to underprivileged children around Ventura County while the food goes to Food Share of Ventura County.
Can’t donate in person but still want to help? Instead, choose to make a monetary donation online. Money raised goes towards buying gifts for children in need. Or purchase something from the Amazon wish list. These will be delivered directly to Toy Central.
Toy Drive Events
In addition to dropping toys and non-perishable food items off at the fire department, organizers created several fun single-day, in-person drop-off events around Ventura County.

From November 30th to December 2nd, businesses, organizations, and individuals set up their very own Christmas trees made of canned food at Figueroa Plaza. The best part? All of the food used for this fun competition goes to Food Share of Ventura County to distribute to families in need this holiday season. If you want to participate in Can-Tree, sign up today!
