Ventura County Fair 2024
When I say “county fair”, what comes to mind first? Food? Music? Rodeos? Live entertainment? The Ventura County Fair has this and so much more! Every day from 12 pm to 12 am, the fairgrounds welcome people from all over the Southern California area and beyond. Dozens of vendors sell their special fair-only merchandise each day. Enjoy magic shows, live dancers, martial arts demonstrations, puppet shows, and more on any of the three stages spread out throughout the fairgrounds. Visit Porker Flats for some pig racing. Let the kids roam free throughout the Kids Zone. Also, don’t forget the multitude of carnival rides to choose from.
Of course, take your pick from the smorgasbord offered by dozens of food vendors. Bacon-wrapped hot dogs. Cheese curds. Asada tacos. Chicken wings. French toast sticks. Funnel cake. Deep-fried twinkies. Chocolate chip cookie roll. You may need Tums after this. But your tastebuds will be happy.
Concert Line-Up & the PRCA Rodeo
Some pretty big names perform live this week. Gabriel Iglesias, aka “Fluffy”, hits the stage tonight at 7 pm. Ludacris performs tomorrow. And Gary Allan finishes up the live performances on Wednesday. First-come/first-served general admission to each of these concerts comes included with the cost of admission to the fair. However, you might want to choose the VIP option for assigned seating. The rodeo takes over for the weekend, with one show on Friday, two on Saturday, and two on Sunday. You may purchase tickets for any of these by visiting the Fair’s website here.
Ticket Info
General admission tickets cost $20.50 per adult per day. Seniors (ages 65+) and children ages 6-12 get in for $5 less per person ($15.50 each). Meanwhile, children under age six get in for free with a paid adult. If you plan on going a few times before August 11th, consider purchasing a season pass for just $45.50.
