This year, Easter Sunday takes place on April 20th. And just two days later, we celebrate Earth Day. Fortunately, if you live in the area, you can celebrate both Ventura Earth Day and Easter over the same weekend!

Two very exciting events take place this month in our fair city: Ventura Earth Day and Easter fun all in one weekend!

Ventura Earth Day and Easter Celebrations 2025

Ventura Earth Day Celebration

So, technically, Earth Day takes place on Tuesday, April 22nd. However, since many people work or go to school that day, organizers in Ventura put together a great Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 19th. Come to Plaza Park (Santa Clara & Chestnut) between 11 am and 4 pm to learn more about the environment and our impact on it. Don’t worry. You will not be bored. Several environmental groups set up informational booths to help educate you on the changes, both big and small, that we can make to protect the planet. Also, dozens of food vendors bring delicious food offerings for everyone who comes. Learn more about electrical vehicles at the EV Showcase. Purchase sustainable goods for your home. Enjoy live performances from local artists. And much, much more.

Ventura Harbor Easter Event

Then, on Sunday, April 20th, bring the family to the Ventura Harbor Easter event from 1 pm to 4 pm. The Easter Bunny plans on meeting and posing for pictures with anyone who wants to do so. Uncle Monkey and Kenney De Voe provide live musical entertainment all afternoon long. Get your face painted. Stop by one of the harbor’s fantastic restaurants for sweet treats and Easter lunch specials. Take advantage of Easter discounts taking place at Harbor Village’s shops and boutiques as well. And be on the lookout for some beautiful tropical birds courtesy of The Bird’s Nest. Make it a full day of sunshine and fun at the Harbor.
