Harbor View Park Car Show
On Sunday, June 15th, come to Harbor View Park (3850 Harbor Blvd) in Oxnard anytime between 10 am and 3 pm. Dozens of classic hot rods, muscle cars, motorcycles, low riders, custom cars, and more. Admission is free.
Channel Islands Maritime Museum Car Show
Before or after the Harbor View Park Car Show, visit the Channel Islands Maritime Museum at 3900 Bluefin in Oxnard. They also host a classic car show with an ocean view during the same time as the one in Harbor View Park. the Maritime Museum’s car show also costs nothing to attend. Convince Dad to wear his favorite Hawaiian shirt. It may win him a prize in the Hawaiian shirt contest at 1 pm. Festivities include a blacksmith demo, dozens of children’s activities, live music, and food trucks.
Channel Islands Beach Cleanup 2025
Don’t forget. This Sunday, June 8th, is the Channel Islands Beach Cleanup. Simply show up at the Channel Islands Visitor’s Center (1901 Spinnaker Dr) in Ventura before 9 am. They ask that you bring a bucket to place the trash you find in. Quick tips: wear lots of sunscreen and closed-toe shoes to protect your skin and your feet, respectively. Also, bring rubber gloves to ensure your hands stay protected as well. Finally, a refillable water bottle allows you to stay hydrated while walking around the beach throughout the day. While the Visitor’s Center provides supplies for safe beach cleanup, it helps if you bring what you can from home.
