Unlike our inland neighbors, Oxnard weather in the summer hovers around the low 70s daily. (Thank you ocean breeze.) That means that we enjoy outdoor activities all summer long without the sweltering heat pounding down on us. So, events like the Oxnard Summer Concert Series quickly become staples in our weekend festivities.

When: From 4 pm to 6 pm every Saturday from July 12th to August 30th

Oxnard Summer Concert Series 2025
Starting this Saturday (July 12th), visit Harbor View Park in Oxnard for a new free outdoor concert. Each week features a new amazing artist and/or band. Musical styles range from rock to R & B, jazz to pop, and country to swing. All you need to bring is a sense of fun and a blanket or lawn chair for comfort. Also, make sure you strap on your dancing shoes. You definitely won’t be sitting for long at any of these concerts.
The Concerts by the Sea series runs weekly through August 30th. Just show up at Harbor View Park before 4 pm to find a good spot. Feel free to bring your own food to enjoy. Or maybe finish the evening off with a great dinner at a nearby restaurant. It’s all good. Please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages or anything in glass containers (food or drink).
Celebrate National Ice Cream Day in Ventura
July 20th is National Ice Cream Day. If you happen to be in Ventura on that day, stop by Rori’s Artisanal Creamery (286 E Main St). For every single scoop you purchase, they will make it a double for no extra cost. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Delicious.
