Tickets
General Admission tickets cost $15 per child (ages six to 12) and seniors (ages 65+). Anyone over 12 must pay $20 each to enter. Kids under six get in for free. Season passes are available for $48. These passes cover entry for every single day of the fair (a savings of $192 if you attended every single day). You need tickets for the carnival rides and play the carnival games as well. They take anywhere from three to ten tickets each. Carnival tickets come in packages of 40, 80, 100, 120, and 160. And while general admission fees cover the cost of the concerts, you can pay extra for VIP treatment. Get your tickets online here before you head out to the fair.
Special Promotions
Six of the 12 days of the Ventura County Fair offer special promotions. On the first day (July 30th), you pay just $5 to get in before 5 pm. On August 1st, kids under 12 get in free (with a paying adult). Seniors and people with disabilities pay nothing to enter on August 5th. All Ventura County Credit Union members receive a $4 discount per person on August 6th. August 7th is Community Heroes Day. Firefighters, policemen and women, members of the military, and EMS workers enter for free all day long. And on August 8th, bring five canned/non-perishable food items and receive one free admission for each paid admission (buy one/get one).
