Ventura Harbor Whale Watching 2025
Each year, thousands of whales migrate from Mexico to Alaska and back down. Along the way, of course, they pass through the waters off California’s coast. Right now, anyone who books a whale watching cruise may see blue whales, humpback whales, or minke whales make their journey in the Pacific Ocean. For the best vantage point, we highly recommend booking a whale watching tour with Island Packers.
Each trip lasts between five and five and a half hours. Boats depart from Ventura Harbor Village and tour around the Channel Islands and Santa Barbara Channel. For more information, please call Island Packers at (805) 642-1393. Tours run now through September 15th.
Live Music Every Weekend at Ventura Harbor Village
If you love music, visit Ventura Harbor Village each weekend. They feature a new musical artist every Saturday and/or Sunday. Each concert starts around 1 pm and ends at 4 pm. Admission is free.
Oxnard Summer Concert Series
If you have not yet seen any of the musical guests at the Oxnard Summer Concert Series, don’t fret. It’s not too late. They take place every Saturday through August 30th. So, you still have a few chances to take a concert or two in before the season ends. Just go to Harbor View Park before 4 pm. Make sure to bring a chair or blanket. (Seating will not be provided.) Find a good spot. Then wait for the music to begin. It costs nothing to attend.
