Art can be created from many different mediums. We usually see it in paintings, pottery, and marble. Some consider fashion art. Art can be permanent. It can also be temporary. At the Ventura Art and Chalk Festival 2025, guests enjoy temporary masterpieces right at their feet.

Ventura Art and Chalk Festival 2025
At this art festival, chalk is the medium of choice. Dozens of local artists lend their talents to create masterpieces right before you eyes on the sidewalks along Ventura Harbor Village. Additionally, these artists showcase their other artwork around the village to sell. Let the kiddos try their hand at chalk drawings in the Kids’ Chalk Zone. Illustrator Greg Wray makes an appearance. If you don’t know the name, your kids might know his artwork. He created the cover for the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game. Finally, there will be live music and tons of other family-friendly activities taking place all day long on both days.
