We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with their friends and/or families. We certainly did. Now that that is over, it’s time to focus on Christmas! And here in Ventura County, that means the Ventura Harbor Parade of Lights 2025!

What: Ventura Harbor Parade of Lights 2025
Where: Ventura Harbor Village
When: December 12th & 13th, from 4 pm to 8 pm
Admission: FREE
Ventura Harbor Parade of Lights 2025
Beginning at 4 pm on both December 12th and the 13th, organizers of the annual Parade of Lights in Ventura set up rides for the kids and carnival games for all ages. Food vendors set up their trucks around the lawn area as well to ensure that everyone keeps their strength up. At 5:30 pm, live performers entertain with twinkling LED lights while the SB Bubble Guy also performs. Don’t be surprised if a little snow falls as well.
Then, the boat parade through the harbor begins at 6:30 pm. All boats make their way around the harbor twice. After that, a fireworks display is planned over the harbor around 8 pm to conclude that evening’s events.
Parking for the Parade of Lights
Ventura Harbor Parking fills up pretty quickly for this event, as you can imagine. Parking costs $1 per hour (for the first four hours) and $10 per day (anything over four hours). The paid parking areas include Surfer’s Knoll Beach, Harbor Cove Beach and, of course, the village itself. Free parking is available along Spinnaker Dr and at Safe Harbor Isle’s Dolphin Lot.
Free Shuttle Service
Another parking option for the evening is to park a bit further away and take the free shuttle in. If you park at the lot on the corner of Schooner and Harbor, you can take the free shuttle to Ventura Harbor Village any time between 4 pm and 10 pm. However, if you do utilize this service, make sure you get back to the pick up point (the village’s Dolphin Lot) no later than 9:50 pm. Otherwise, you will miss the last shuttle back to your car.
