Easter Sunday takes place on April 17th. But the Easter Bunny plans on making a visit to a few locations around our area to hide eggs beforehand. The fun begins this weekend in Ventura’s Plaza Park and ends the day before Easter Sunday in Camarillo. Read on to find out more about this year’s Ventura County Easter egg hunts.
Ventura County Easter Egg Hunts 2022
Camarillo Easter Egg Hunt
Starting this Friday (April 8th), the search for 24 Easter eggs begins at the Camarillo Community Center. Between the 8th and 16th, make your way around the center to look for 16 giant eggs and eight “challenge” eggs. First, download your bingo card to keep track of every egg you find. Find all the eggs in one row of the card to receive a goody bag. If you find all of the eggs to fill out the entire card, you also receive an entry into the raffle. Each challenge egg provides one extra raffle ticket, too. Just make sure you turn your completed cards in when you finish to collect your prize.
On Saturday, April 16th, come back to the community center for the Easter Eggstravaganza! This event starts at 10 am and ends at 2 pm. It includes food trucks, craft vendors, an inflatable obstacle course, music, and more. Plus, the Easter Bunny makes his presence known for the perfect Easter photo op.
Ventura Easter Egg Hunts
Ventura offers not just one but two Easter egg hunts. The first takes place this Saturday, April 9th at Plaza Park. “The Hunt” is considered the largest free Easter egg hunt in the area. And it costs nothing to participate. To give everyone a fair shake, they offer several different egg hunts grouped according to age (from zero to 12). In addition to the hunt, get your face painted, visit the petting zoo, play in the bounce house, or hop aboard a ride.
While the event remains free, everyone must register to make sure they accommodate all age groups. The rides cost money, though. Tickets cost $24.98 per wristband. This allows your child unlimited rides throughout the event (10 am to 2 pm). Visit the online box office here to pre-order your child’s wristband today.
Finally, the second Ventura Easter egg hunt takes place at the Ventura Harbor Village. While everyone enjoyed Dave & Pat Zumbrun, your Ventura County real estate specialists
