Can you believe that it’s already April 1st? It feels like we just welcomed in the new year. But it’s already spring (not that you could tell by all of the rain we had over the weekend). Thankfully, the weatherman predicts sunny days ahead. Good thing, too, because the VC Art Market is now in full effect.

VC Art Market 2024
Since 2016, artists from all over the area gathered at the corner of California Street and Main Street in Downtown Ventura. The art market hosts more than 20 local artists and makers on the second Saturday of the month. Here, you’ll find various artwork in a wide variety of mediums: paintings, ceramics, metalworks, leatherwork, jewelry, soap, candles, and much, much more. This market provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the works from the artists themselves. What a great way to support our art community directly!
Becoming a Vendor
Are you an artist looking to showcase your work? Apply for a spot at the next art market here. Organizers offer two different sizes: a 10’x10′ canopy space and a 6′ table space. Vendor fees range from $35 to $60. If space allows, they welcome all comers. However, they highly recommend applying as soon as possible to guarantee yourself a spot. Spaces are available on a first come/first served basis only. So, each month brings a new opportunity for artists. If you miss out this month, apply for next month.
